The Cutest Vintage Suitcase Record Player Tube Amplified Turntable EVAR! ZOMG!

This is the cutest vintage turntable on eBay and I dare you to prove me wrong. You can't. It's awesome. The unit turns on, but since I don't have a replacement needle, I wasn't able to test it. Having opened it up to take a look it's definitely tube amplified, but then for it's time period, was there another option? :) The cord is in good shape, and there are photos of everything. This would make a great display piece with it's cute bear dog cat whatever they are all over, or could definitely be reconditioned, but I wouldn't want to use a steel needle on any vinyl worth keeping. :)
