Sony Super Betamax HiFi SL-HF900 Stereo Video Cassette Recorder Tested Working.
Tested this with a copy of Top Gun. Works great as can be seen in the 2nd photo. Player only, does not include the remote control. Play, fast-forward, rewind, pause, and eject all worked perfectly. Tracking set to the neutral position provided a great image, by 1986 standards of course.
