This machine, however, has ONE flaw. Due to damage on one of the boards inside, the machine only plays STEREO sound. Therefore it should play almost 100% of store bought VHS movies/TV. However, with home recorded VHS tapes, if it was not recorded in Stereo, then the sound will not play. The tape will play normally otherwise but it will be muted. So any MONO tapes will play in mute. Any techie buyers out there who think they can fix this flaw, by all means, this machine is for you. It otherwise plays tapes perfectly.
