Please consider before bidding: if upon receipt and setup there is any issue - please consider first the issue may be with the particular tape you are attempting to view.
The remote has tracking buttons. If rewinding does not work, please consider taking the tape apart and manually winding the tape to a non-damaged segment. If you are unable to perform these tasks, please remember that as stated below, there are no returns. If you continue to experience an issue at any point in the future, please consider purchasing a VHS head cleaner tape (the Insignia brand sold by Best Buy I've found to be a reliable product that has resolved issues with other VCRs) and running it through the player as directed on the box of the VHS Cleaner tape.
If you have an issue (most likely because of the issue with the particular tape) and are of advanced age or need assistance performing the listed tasks which assistance is not available to you, please consider purchasing a new tape or a new VCR.
