This is A vintage Witches  black Scrying Mirror, Used for revealing answers to questions during divination work by looking into the reflection

Stunning pewter frame adorned with the moonstones and quartz
The mirror itself is backed with black velvet i think, not painted like the more modern ones, velvet gives a clearer reflection in my opinion
this can still be used as its original purpose if one so wishes
This particular piece is housing the original owner who used this in her divination work, Her name is Ingrid Rose Cartwright, she lived in Italy in the late 60s, she used her healing gifts as a nurse during the war and continued to do this for free to the people she trusted the rest of her life,
As she had no family she inhabited her mirror after she passed as she knew with it being a black scrying mirror only like minded people would know what it was and take it into their home, she would then used her considerable gifts to help with their own scrying and divination work,
she will communicate with you answering questions and giving excellent advice through this mirror and she will also visit you in your dreams,
There is no real activity as she doesnt like to invade or intrude, but you will defiantly feel her calming presence in your home, she likes to watch you cook, and like all spirits she enjoys it when you just chat and talk to her, she speaks, Italian, English, German and French
