Here for sale is an Atlona AT-HD-M2C HDMI to 2 Channel Audio Converter. This unit is designed to intercept and strip out the audio stream from an HDMI connection and down-convert the content for 2 channel use. This is often done in distributed home AV systems where a video source needs to be shared to audio only 2 channel zones.
Note that there is a newer version of this device that can handle the most current HDMI formats. This device is not 4K compatible.
I have bench tested this unit and confirmed basic function. The test consisted of the HDMI output from a Macbook fed into the M2C. I tested Analog RCA as well as Coax and Optical outputs. All worked as expected.
Original power supply with locking connector included.
